At HisabSet ("we", "our", "us"), we recognize that your financial transactions, customer lists, profit margins, and GST records constitute your most sensitive business assets.

This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, safeguarded, and utilized when you use the HisabSet mobile application, desktop application, and web services. We do not sell, rent, monetize, or harvest your business records for advertising.

2. Information We Collect

We only collect information necessary to deliver seamless bookkeeping, invoicing, and synchronization services:

• Authentication Information: When signing in via Google, we receive your email address, display name, and avatar profile picture. When signing in via Mobile Phone, we receive your verified mobile telephone number and verification tokens.
• Business Identity: Business name, enterprise type, address, GSTIN, PAN, and bank account information you choose to enter for display on generated invoices.
• Bookkeeping & Ledger Records: Invoices, bill items, stock valuations, customer/supplier names, payments, expenses, and loan balances stored in your local application database and optional cloud backup.
• Technical & Diagnostic Data: Device model, operating system version, and anonymous crash telemetry used exclusively to maintain software stability.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information strictly for:

• Authenticating your account across your phone, tablet, and desktop computers;
• Backing up your financial ledgers and restoring your books in the event of device replacement or loss;
• Calculating double-entry balances, GST liabilities (CGST, SGST, IGST), and inventory valuations;
• Delivering customer support when you reach out to our team;
• Enabling WhatsApp, SMS, and UPI payment sharing initiated directly by you.

4. Data Storage, Security & Encryption

HisabSet employs bank-grade security standards to protect your commercial data:

• Encryption in Transit: All communications between the HisabSet client and cloud infrastructure utilize TLS 1.3 / SSL 256-bit encryption.
• Encryption at Rest: Cloud backups maintained on Firebase and Supabase utilize AES-256 bit encrypted storage.
• Local Sandbox: On-device data is maintained in isolated application sandboxes inaccessible to unauthorized third-party apps.

5. Third-Party Infrastructure Providers

To provide robust reliability, HisabSet utilizes reputable global cloud infrastructure providers governed by stringent privacy standards:

• Firebase (Google LLC): Used for secure user authentication, phone SMS OTP delivery, and hosting.
• Supabase: Used for secure distributed cloud state backups and synchronization.

These providers process data strictly on our instructions and are contractually prohibited from using your data for any independent purposes.

6. Your Rights & Data Portability

You maintain complete control over your records:

• Export: You can export complete customer, inventory, transaction, and GST data to PDF and CSV formats at any time.
• Deletion: You can clear all business data directly inside the application (More › Start Fresh / Clear Business Data) or request total cloud account deletion.
• Portability: Your backup can be downloaded or migrated anytime.

7. Zero Advertising & No Third-Party Tracking

HisabSet contains no advertising SDKs, no behavioral tracking cookies, and no data brokers. We do not track your browsing activity across other websites.

8. Updates to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in legal requirements or platform features. When changes are made, the revised date at the top of this policy will be updated.
